Choker Necklace Colored for Women - Rigoberta
The choker necklace colored for women is inspired by Guatemalan activist Rigoberta Menchú.
Guatemalan activist whose struggle for indigenous rights was recognized with the Nobel Peace Prize in 1992. She was born into a large Mayan-Quiché peasant family, whose ancestors forged the splendid civilization of the Mayas between the 3rd and 15th centuries.
"The West wants to make us uniform, but we are not uniformed, we are multicoloured, just as we are diverse".
At Trart we only work with high quality materials. The jewelery pieces are made of polymer clay that we obtain to través from a totally handmade process. Our chokers are water and wear resistant. As it is a traditional process, the jewels can vary in size as they are made by hand one by one. We are an original brand from Barcelona, we like the proximity and the love for athentic things.
The variety of shapes and textures are obtained by embedding clays of different colors, using complex techniques with spectacular results. The diversity of colors is obtained by mixing the primary colors, and in no case paint or other products other than clay are used.
All our designs are original and as they are handcrafted they will always be unique, since it is unlikely to make two exact ones.
